The gong, I think, remains an underused and awesome part of the rock and roll arsenal. Queen, masters of bombast that they were, were big on using a gong. I'm being a dork to make up for a lousy workday:

Someone misused the word "approbation" on the internet. They wrote like it was something bad. Approbation means "commendation; praise." The word they meant to use was opprobrium. How do I know this? I made the same mistake a while back.

Last week was due to stupidity on my part and this week was follow-on stupidity, which although not mine, made me feel badly. Not sure what it all means, but I was deeply amused, which I suppose is enough meaning for now.

The combination of stress and exhaustion brings out some interesting reactions in me. For example, I want to play Beatles LOLcats. Here's mine:
